A programme that invites international institutions must meet international expectations from the outset. RD100 is being developed against recognised standards, with independent studies underway and a governance posture designed for close scrutiny.
The programme is at the development stage. The facilities are not yet built and are not producing fuel. The independent Feasibility Study and the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment are contracted to NEMAS Consult Limited and are in progress, and where their findings refine the design, the studies govern.
We describe positions at the stage each has actually reached. Land is agreed in terms, with registration progressing. Permits and approvals are described as in progress, never as held, until they are formally issued. Every figure on this site is a directional design target.
The waste service is offered under Ghana's public-private partnership framework as an unsolicited proposal that seeks no viability-gap funding and no tax exemption, and no capital, loan or sovereign guarantee is sought from the State.
What the programme brings is investment, capability and a cleaner country. What it asks in return is a fair, secured arrangement for the service it provides. That balance is deliberate, and it is the basis on which we engage with government.
