Compliance by Design, at Every Layer
Hamtracom RD100 is designed to satisfy the full compliance requirements of Ghanaian law, international project finance lenders, and ESG-screened institutional investors simultaneously.
The project is structured to comply with Ghana’s Environmental Protection Act, 2025 (Act 1124), the Environmental Assessment Regulations, 1999 (LI 1652), the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) governing MMDA contracting authority, and the National Petroleum Authority Act, 2005 (Act 691) for fuel marketing. International compliance tracks IFC Environmental & Social Performance Standards 1 to 8 and the Equator Principles IV. The Feasibility Study and the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment are contracted to NEMAS Consult Limited of Accra and are currently in progress under the Environmental Assessment Regulations; no approval or permit is represented as held until it is formally issued by the responsible authority.
